Is this program open to all types of podcasts?

Yes, while I primarily work with business owners, if you want to launch a non-business show, you will still find the program valuable. There is one important caveat: this is a safe, inclusive space for people of all backgrounds and identities. I don't work with shows that promote discrimination, hate speech, or harm toward people based on their identity (race, religion, gender, sexual orientation, disability, etc.). If your podcast promotes this kind of content, this is not the program for you.

Why two weeks instead of one?

With 11 comprehensive lessons covering everything from mindset to marketing, two weeks gives you time to actually absorb and implement what you're learning without burning out. You'll have breathing room for your real life while still maintaining momentum.

What if I miss a day or fall behind?

Since the lessons are pre-recorded, you can catch up anytime. The suggested schedule is there to keep you on track, but you’re welcome to make adjustments. Also, you get Sundays off. The sprint runs from October 25 - November 10, and we skip both Sundays.

How much time do I need to commit each day?

If you’d like to follow the schedule, plan for about 30 minutes - 1 hour per day. Some lessons are shorter and you'll fly through them, others might take longer. We’re building a whole podcast from scratch!

Do I need any special equipment to get started with this program?

Nope! You can complete the entire program with just your computer or phone. One of the lessons specifically covers what gear you need, but you can purchase it when you’re ready.

Will this work if I want to do a video podcast?

I only cover the basics of video podcasting. While the foundations of both are the same, the curriculum focuses on audio podcasts and doesn't go into detail regarding video editing. 

Will you teach me how to edit my podcast?

Yes! I'll walk you through the basics of editing, provide resources for learning three different platforms (Audacity, Riverside, Descript), and show you my personal editing workflow. You won't become a professional audio engineer in two weeks, but you'll know enough to make your episodes sound good, whether you’re recording solo or with guests.

What do I get the minute I join?

You get immediate access to the Slack community so you can introduce yourself and start connecting. Then, on Saturday morning, October 25, everyone gets access to the Notion workbook and lessons at the same time. This is by design! You know exactly when we're beginning, you can block out the time, and you'll have a whole community starting alongside you. Plus, it gives you a few days to mentally prepare and get excited before we dive in.

Do I need to know how to use Notion?

Nope! The workbook is designed to be super intuitive, even if you've never touched Notion before. Everything is laid out clearly with checkboxes and fill-in-the-blank exercises. Plus, if you really hate Notion, you can always print out the workbook pages or even copy the exercises into a regular notebook.

Will I have a fully launched podcast at the end of two weeks?

You'll have everything you need to launch: your concept, your plan, your tech setup, your first episodes planned, your marketing strategy. But I recommend giving yourself time to practice your new skills, implement your launch strategy, and batch record some episodes. The actual launch date is up to you!

Do you offer refunds?

Because this is an online offer where you get immediate access to all materials, I'm not offering refunds. But I'm confident that if you show up and do the work, you'll walk away with exactly what you need to launch your podcast.
